Tintero Creative MomentumWe all have great intentions at the beginning of a calendar year to meet certain goals or resolutions, but often, those goals fall to the wayside by the middle of the year. So, I have to ask: How is your momentum at this point in the year? How is your marketing and communications momentum? How is your business growth? How will you move your brand forward to the end of the year and beyond? Momentum is defined by Merriam Webster as “the strength or force that allows something to continue or to grow stronger or faster as time passes the strength or force that allows something to continue or to grow stronger or faster as time passes.” Momentum is not just moving along at a current pace, but instead at an increasing pace!

At Tintero Creative, we work with many clients to build brand momentum through their digital presence. Some clients prefer to help us get them started with their digital and social media momentum. Others, seek our expertise to not only get them started, but build momentum through social media, website design, SEO, blogging, and more! We commonly come across companies and brands that fall into one of these three common phases with brand momentum:

Has No Momentum

Not only are there many brands out there with no momentum, but they have no movement of any kind. They are stale and lifeless. They need help branding to determine what message they should be sharing and how to best achieve that. A comprehensive branding study may be extremely helpful for a company that is feeling a little stale.

Had Momentum

The key word here is “had”. We’re talking about brands that had someone focusing on their branding through social media, digital platforms, print and networking, and more. There was some big push to promote the brand at some point. However, due to some reason, that person is no longer paying attention, putting forth proactive campaigns, or making the brand’s marketing momentum a priority of any kind. Perhaps you’ve seen a company that has a Facebook page, but it hasn’t been updated since 2010. Another common indicator is a sorely outdated website, or no website at all. Their momentum was in the past and these brands need to get back into the present so that they can then look to the future.

Has Momentum

A brand that has momentum is fairly easy to spot. You’ll notice that they are regularly active on their website, blog, social media, email newsletters, print campaigns, and more. You will see them grow and you will see people being excited about the brand. The key with already having momentum is that you can build off of it and look to the future.

Where is your brand at today? Do you have tons of momentum right now, or have you lost the momentum you built up back when? Or perhaps, your brand is stuck in a rut and needs a big push to get some momentum going? Whatever phase your brand is in, Tintero Creative can help you make a game plan to build up more momentum and promote growth for your brand!
