Yes, that’s right!  There is a real person writing, laboring, researching, designing, and creating behind every project that this new company of mine does.  The road to creating an actual company out of my freelancing and realizing that I LOVE doing these kinds of projects crept up on me.  I was not intentionally thinking to myself “hey, let’s start a company and seek out clients right now”!  Instead, it grew steadily and from referrals.  It was an organic growth – one that I was not prepared for.  If you know me at all, you know that I love to plan and be prepared and am always looking for ways to stay organized in our busy world!

Here are some of the ways I stay organized when my life is going at full throttle:

1.  My smart phone:  I don’t know how I would stay together without that.  I use the notepad section, my alarms (to wake me up early to work), the email connection, and many other apps!

2.  My laptop:  I’m very thankful for my macbook and how easy it is to bring with me to work from a coffee shop or library as needed!

3.  Jump drive/Dropbox:  Transferring files has never been so easy!

4.  Facebook and Twitter apps on my phone:  I can manage accounts from my phone!  Did you ever imagine we’d be saying things like that 20 years ago?  (Let alone using words like “tweeting”)

5.  Google Drive:  I can save and access files from anywhere and any computer.  Love it!

6.  Pocket Calendar:  I’m still a little old-school with this one.  I still carry a hard copy calendar about the size of a checkbook in my purse at all times!

7.  A small notebook:  This is really my main organizer!  I hand-write all of my to-dos down and carry it in my purse always!  I’ve learned that my brain remembers things more when I physically write them down.

Staying organized is essential in my life right now and many times is an ever-changing art form!
